Icône "Architecte"
UNKNOWN, 1880–1889

Located on Rue Royale-Sainte-Marie, this elegant neoclassical house, built between 1880 and 1889, has stood the test of time and remains, even today, in a remarkable state of preservation. The interior, laid out in a typical three-room enfilade plan, is bathed in light from large bay windows and intricately crafted stained-glass windows. The cement tiles, fireplaces, service staircase and numerous mouldings all bear witness to a particularly meticulous design.
