Guided walk adapted for blind and visually impaired people

Only in French

Commissioned in the late 19th century to “beautify the city and encourage artistic creation,” 52 statues were created for the Botanical Garden. The project leaders, Constantin Meunier and Charles Van der Stappen, enlisted the best artists of their time for this ambitious program, which blended symbolism, a celebration of labor, and a love of nature. The 30 statues still standing in this splendid green setting constitute our finest collection of Belle Époque sculptures in Brussels.

This tour is accessible to blind and visually impaired visitors. Each blind or visually impaired participant must be accompanied, as the tour does involve stairs and sloping paths.
