Dessigny House"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Dessigny House on Avenue du Tr\u00f4ne, named for the person who commissioned it, is eclectic in style and inspired by the French Neo-Renaissance.  It was designed by the architect Eug\u00e8ne Flanneau in 1871. Its red brick fa\u00e7ade enhanced with blue stone elements sets it apart from neighbouring houses. The original wooden door is beautifully moulded and decorated.  The interior is particularly well preserved as evidenced by the period decor, mouldings, panelling and fireplaces.
